The Food Factor: Red Wine Vinaigrette

If you like vinaigrette on your salad or as a marinade, give this homemade Red Wine Vinaigrette a try.
It comes together in only a few minutes, has a great flavor, and is super versatile.
Red Wine Vinaigrette
Ingredients
¼ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup red wine vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced or ½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon fresh oregano or ¼ teaspoon dried
1 teaspoon fresh thyme or ¼ teaspoon dried
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
Directions
1. Wash hands with soap and water.
2. In a small bowl or jar with a tight-fitting lid, add all the ingredients and mix or shake to combine.
3. Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours. Use within 1 week.
