Health fairs will focus on diabetes awareness
MISSISSIPPI STATE -- The Mississippi State University Extension Service is promoting diabetes awareness in a series of health fairs.
Health fair attendees will be able to talk to MSU Extension health specialists, get printed materials, obtain information about the signs and symptoms of diabetes, and learn about healthy lifestyle choices.
Each health fair will be from 9 a.m. until noon. The fairs will be held at a variety of locations.
•Nov. 6 at the Chickasaw County Civic Center
•Nov. 7 at the Noxubee County Civic Center
•Nov. 12 at the Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Alcorn County
•Nov. 14 at the Fulton Family Medical Clinic in Itawamba County
A health fair will be held in Winston County at a later date.
