Today’s Mom

Today’s Mom is an education program that teaches pregnant women about nutrition and a healthy lifestyle to ensure successful birth outcomes.

Target Audience(s):

Pregnant women with limited resources

Objectives:

Participants will:

  • Improve diets and nutritional welfare for themselves and their baby,
  • Know more about nutritional needs during pregnancy,
  • Be able to select foods that satisfy nutritional needs,
  • Improve fitness skills for the overall health of themselves and their baby, and
  • Know how to feed their baby with an emphasis on breastfeeding.

Total Number of Modules or Sessions: 6

Total Number of Hours for Program Delivery: a minimum of 6

Program Delivery:

  • Educational Class
  • Educational Video (Online or DVD)
