TummySafe is a food safety training program for child care providers providing the required Food Managers Certification to operate a licensed child care facility in Mississippi.
Target Audience(s):
Child Care providers, Mississippi Department of Health, and employed families with children
Objectives:
Participants will increase knowledge on topics that include:
- Diapering;
- Handling breast milk and formula;
- Crosscontamination;
- Safe serving practices; and
- Cooking and storing food.
Total Number of Modules or Sessions: 1 or more
Total Number of Hours for Program Delivery: 6-8
