Your participation will make a difference!
- You’re already passionate about ensuring safe and clean drinking water for your community, so get ready to make an impact that matters—join SipSafe to test your water and prevent lead exposure.
Why Participate?
- Convenience: SipSafe will visit your facilities to sample and test the drinking water fixtures in accordance with EPA requirements. We can also sample and test your water as you prepare for your mandatory LCRR sampling, so you can focus your time and resources on other tasks.
- Financial benefits: If a sample tests higher than the EPA action level, SipSafe will help resolve the issue and can help with remediation funds.
- Public health protection: Having your water tested for lead will ensure your facilities offer families and individuals access to clean, lead-free drinking water.
- Research contribution: Join our collective effort to gather essential data on lead levels, which will be tested at an EPA/Mississippi-certified chemical laboratory, and contribute to a statewide research initiative to improve water quality standards.
- Expert collaboration: Work with environmental scientists, water quality specialists, and public health professionals to make a tangible impact.
- Professional development: Be recognized as a leader who promotes safe drinking water.
