About Extension

MSU Extension Program and Staff Development is dedicated to building the professional, programmatic, and evaluation knowledge and capacity of the organization and its employees. Faculty in Program and Staff Development support MSU Extension administrators, other faculty, agents, and staff by focusing on the following major areas:

Planning and Needs Assessment

Program Development and Enhancement

Evaluation and Accountability

Performance Measurement

Extension Administrative Council meets the second Wednesday of every month (except holidays) at 2:30 pm.

The priorities listed below were developed by MSU-ES Administration for the Federal Plan of Work and will be utilized in developing the State, Regional, and County Plans of Work. These priorities also determine the regional expertise needed within the MSU Extension faculty and staff.  These priorities may change pending continued needs assessment at the local level.
